We did not expecting anything but very grateful for the four-course dinner that presented to us.

As per i mention in my entry "3 Days, 3 Celebrations, 3 Circles and The Final Three" [Read] prior to this staycation - i wish for my birthday is to have a quiet moment doing nothing just hang out.. Although i didnt mention it to the hotel, they actually fulfilled my wish..

so i really appreciate this dinner - it's right on point as per we needed - the food, the warm and hospitality environment while having quality time with loved ones..

Thank you once again, Merdeka Palace Hotel & Suites. Marvelous experience...

Oh yeah, Ristorante Beccari also famous with their wood-fired oven pizza, go try out! I've meant to 'tapau' [Read : Take away] - if they still have it a pizza called 'Casanova' to bring back to our apartment, you know for late night supper...

... well after the full-filling dinner and few stop-over to say Hi to former colleagues, we head back to our apartment.

Literally forgotten all about it.

When we booked our room with Expedia - we choose to include breakfast and it starts from 6am to 10am..

There are few eating places outside hotel if you want to try out the local, some are walk-in distance. The legendary Saujana across the Padang Merdeka, if you prefer Indian food - behind the Plaza Merdeka located India Street that famous during festive season. You can find local or Indian food eateries there.

Across from India Street is the Carpenter Street mainly chinese local food [Non Halal].

Ask the concierge of the hotel, they can help you with more information.

Or there's always a reason for breakfast in bed, right? You also can order Room Service for breakfast - there's menu in the room.

Anyways, back to our in-house breakfast... Bon appetito to us!!

We took our time and enjoying our breakfast, next we're going for our own sort-of hotel sight-seeing..

Years before Starbucks and other hipster cafes, Kuchingites already have Seattle Coffee & Tea and they are serving my favourite brand coffee bean - illy.. Nice! By the way you can get pastries, panini or cakes here.

Fitness center located at level 8 - no reason to skip your leg day now eh? Hahaha

Due to time constraint, none of us try any of the facilities... Probably next time!

There are few stalls selling Teh Tarik, Fritters, Burgers in case you want to change your perspective. If not mistaken only on weekend and for short period of time, do check with them for more info.

To be honest, as a burger enthusiast myself - the burger smells so good but too bad i'm still full from the breakfast buffet. Reason to come back, right?
