Ola...

Still thinking where to eat...?

Try Nando's now available at The Spring, Kuching.

NTGravity Zone was there last week [Oct 16] for a lunch treat...

Nando's at Vivacity Megamall, Kuching was my first experience, i didn't know that each one of their restaurants has its own layout, but all outlet will have their South African - Portuguese heritage.

....so it's time for you to give another look aight..?

If this is your first time, no worries it's very easy to order. Usually crew will assist you...

I fall in love with layout - very cozy and comfy just by looking, what more if you lepak and onom nom in it.

Fino for Posh...

3 new in the Fino side menu that you can choose and of course you can also have them as an add-on...

need a reason for your 'cheat meal'? opt for spinach side.
Sweet Potato Chips for a change as its also very delicious..

Chicks need to pose for photoshots..

Main event... The flame-grilled chickens

I usually order Mild and lower as my base sauce but today yikesss... hahaha

They have the all level-sauce[s] that might suits your palate...

Mr Very Spicy Tolerance... from Hot sauce to Extra Hot..
In terms of seating, you may sit anywhere you like...

Probably by the window...

Or.. cozily round table with nice chandelier...

something like this..

or you can just sit with your whole clan at this very long table [ can fit 12 person ]

sweet indulging caramel cheese cake... pair very well with black coffee for me...
Selfie with one of my favourite cheese dishes... hahaha

Thank you for the gifts.. cant wait for my next trip to Nando's...
Dont forget to instal Nando's app in your mobile and start collecting 'Chillies' everytime you visit their outlet. You also can easily check out their menu and price.

NTGravity : Never be bored with chickens... and still hoping to try they hummus one day...

Haiittt~!!

Last week NTGravity Zone (under Sarawak Bloggers Society) is invited to attend a Meet-The-Media session with Datuk Torstein Dale Sjoveit as he will be leaving Sarawak Energy Berhad (SEB) end of October.

The 61-year-old Norwegian's position will be succeeded by Sarawakian Sharbini Suhaili, 53, currently vice president for health, safety, security and environment (HSSE) for Petronas group.

Meet-The-Media Session with Datuk Torstein at Menara Sarawak Energy last October 13

During this session Datuk Torstein briefed all the things that has achieved or not after seven years with SEB.

This includes increasing the number of sales of SEB energy up to 120 percent, while the company's revenue jumped more than 70 percent and pre-tax profit increase of 75 percent.

At the same time, energy theft rate was reduced more than half the power distribution network to occur efficiently and smoothly.

I personally love that photo!

Their commitment to the enviroment as for children's future.

Giving back to society, shows here for literacy program and how many are now literate in rural area are pretty awesome!

Sarawak Energy trying their best to improves both SAIFI and SAIDI
They have team to prepare for emergency and closer inspection of the affected area by deploying drones to gather more visual information. This is to minimise the time to search, repair and restore whenever needed.

A gorgeous Menara Sarawak Energy, the first green building in Sarawak.
...innovative insulation methods and water features keeps the building cool resulting in less energy consumed for air-conditioning while a clever use of skylights and reflector makes full use of natural lighting to illuminate the various part of the building right down to the car park.

Murum Dam

Improving the quality of life for the resettled communities.
At the end of 2013, all 353 Penan families were succesfully relocated and their new home are equipped with proper living, cooking and toilet/shower spaces and access to modern infrastructure such as electricity, clean water supply and other amenities.

During a final Q & A session, one of questions to Datuk Torstein is regarding his opinion about small dam in Sarawak, his answer is simple -

'Very Good Idea...'

'....if we all willing to pay two Ringgit Malaysia per kilowatt power'...

To his opinion small dam is not creating affordable energy or equivalent job opportunities and mini hydros only providing powers approximately 9 to 10months per year so it's better to have bigger dam that can provide more and affordable.

When asked by the media about his future after SEB. He replied that he probably do some advisory jobs next year but first, he wanted to go back home (Oslo, Norway) and spend time with his family and friends. He is also about to have his third grandchildren very soon.

He told media that first thing that comes in his mind when asked about what he love most surely is Sarawak Laksa and of course working with SEB. He also love the openness and the friendliness that people in Sarawak gave to him all these years, through thick and thin.

Lastly he wish that SEB will keep on growing and continued success under the lead of new CEO in November.

Salaam...

How are you all doing...?

Last February NTGravity Zone was invited to MBO The Spring, Kuching for their official makeover launching. [Read HERE]

This coming weekend [ 5 - 7 August 2016 ] MBO Cinemas is continuing its third annual partnership with St John Ambulance of Malaysia to host a blood donation drive to contribute to the National Blood Centre (PDN). Organisers are expecting to reach the target of 5,000 pints of blood at this event, fondly known as Blood Donation Drive 3.0.

S A V E  T H E  D A T E S

Location : MBO Cinemas Nationwide
Time : from 12pm to 6pm
Date : 5-6 August 2016 [ Kedah and Johor ]
Date : 6-7 August 2016 [ the rest of Malaysia]

Anyways in 2015, MBO Cinemas and St John Ambulance of Malaysia collaborated together and collected 4,052 pints of life-saving blood which is almost quadruple the 2014 collection of 1,065 pints. Under the tagline “1 Pint Saves 3 Lives”, these donations from two years alone have already saved more than 15,000 lives. [ Kudos to all!! ]

Taking place at 25 locations of MBO Cinemas nationwide from 12pm to 6pm on 5-6 August in Kedah and Johore plus 6-7 August for the rest of Malaysia, trained personnel from St John Ambulance of Malaysia will be on hand to assist the staff from PDN.

Apart from saving lives, blood donors will have additional reasons to participate as they will receive a goodie bag which consist of a free cinema ticket, MBO Cinemas movie merchandises, food, drinks and pharmaceutical gifts from our generous partners.

Mr Lim Eng Hee, CEO of MBO Cinemas said: " With this engaging charitable endeavour, MBO Cinemas hopes to further stamp our presence in the community, together with our core values of fun and entertaining, and yet a meaningful community work.

“This event will be a quintessential way of bringing people together under the banner of a common cause, promoting a sense of contribution and responsibility that in turn makes us all better human beings."

In return of St. John Ambulance continuous support, MBO Cinemas will donate RM10,000 as a token of appreciation for their assistance in this nationwide blood donation campaign.

Regarding the blood donation drive, Dato' Yeo Kim Thong, National Secretary General of St John Ambulance of Malaysia stated that he was pleased to see corporations like MBO Cinemas taking an active interest in the communities and hoping that this effort will inspire more to come forward and contribute to the national aid causes, as it would not only help Malaysia at large but also boosts the confidence of the volunteers from St John Ambulance of Malaysia.

Dr Noryati bt Abu Amin, Director of National Blood Centre added that contributions like this help save many lives every day and events like these are a wonderful way to raise awareness about the process of blood donation and how it is a great way to give back and help the community.

Dr Noryati bt Abu Amin, Director of National Blood Centre, Mr Lim Eng Hee, CEO of MBO Cinemas and Dato' Yeo Kim Thong, National Secretary General of St John Ambulance of Malaysia sharing on BDD3.0 with the media

Also in attendance at today’s event was Mr Cheah Chun Wai, MBO Cinemas Director of Marketing & Sales; Ms Mariam Yazmin El-Bacha, MBO Cinemas Director of Operations as well as representatives from sponsors including Etika Holdings Sdn Bhd, Newvos Sdn Bhd, Sonofax Sdn Bhd, Caring Pharmacy and brands such as Revive and Goodday Milk, V Plus, Boh, Cadbury, Darlie, Nando’s and Snekku.

Sponsors of BDD3.0 all set for championing a great cause!
In conjunction with all these efforts, a teeth-in-cheek promotional video has been created that will be aired in all 26 MBO cinemas, starring Taring returning for the second time now all grownup, several weeks in advance to promote the Blood Donation Drive 3.0 to the audiences and create enthusiasm while taking away the fear and phobia associated with donating blood.

Here a simple guide before, during and after donating blood....

Don't forget,

5 - 7 August. Nearest MBO Cinemas. 12pm - 6pm.
[TAKE NOTE : 5-6 Aug - Kedah and Johor | 6-7 Aug - the rest of Malaysia]

Salaam...

Earlier this month, my part-time colleague doing a cool project from leather for another colleague, it's look so cool for me. For a morale support, i gave him a project - something I've been longing to have it long ago.

Some of my favourite design in Etsy.

A namecard holder... with NTGravity Zone initial... dont you think it will look very elegance?

He is very new in this but i believe if you put your heart on what you're doing, it can lead you somewhere. I strongly believe.

NTGravity is very grateful because he agreed to share a little bit [my-namecard holder-in-the-making] photos and his secret hideout.. hahaha

Cutting the leather
It's almost there... *so excited!*
Carefully measured before the next process...
Some of V LeatherWorks' works - love the slingbag!

Juggling his time between work, study and hobby - after two weeks, he handed me my oh-so-lovely namecard holder...

.....with my initial on it!

*deep breathe*

Not bad for a junior...

NTGravity : For now i keep it in my memory box. For future.
