Omurice... Haitt~!

Aku sejak beberapa tahun nieh gilakan Jepun... penyanyi nya.. makanan nya... drama nya.. hahaha.. nasib Air Asia dah ada flight pergi sana kalau tidak.. takperlaa.. bukan pergi pun~

Apapa pun..

Omurice nieh adalah nama manja untuk Omelette Rice (Nasi Telur Dadar)... apa yang menariknya kita kat Malaysia pun ada nasi nieh... ala... Nasi Goreng Pataya tuh la... hahaha

Here goes...,

Ingredients for OMURICE
(serves 4)

Untuk Nasi Goreng :

250g Isi ayam - potong dadu
1 Bawang putih - cincang
1/2 Bawang Besar - cincang
4 Cendawan butang - hiris
sos Tomato
30g Green Peas - celur
Garam & Lada
500g Nasi putih

Untuk Omelette :
8 biji Telur
6 sudu besar Susu Segar
Garam & Lada

Untuk Hiasan :
Baby Ceasar yang nieh ikut suka laaa
Parsley yang nieh ikut suka laaa
Sos Tomato dan Mayonaise - bagus nya kalau dalam botol plastik yang boleh di picit.. hahah

Cara membuat Nasi Goreng :

1. Gorengkan bawang putih and bawang besar. Bila dah bau wangi masukkan ayam...
2. Bila ayam dah separuh masak, masukkan cendawan dan sos tomato. Kacau rata..
3. Masukkan nasi putih dan green peas, masukkan garam and lada secukup rasa..
4. Gaul rata, dalam 5minit bahagikan ke empat pinggan.

Cara membuat Omelette dan menyediakan Omurice :
1. Pukul 2 biji telur dengan 1 sudu Susu Segar. Perasakan dengan lada dan garam secukupnya.
2. Panas sediit minyak.. (Sebaik - baiknya gunakan non stick pan)
3. Masukkan telur dan kacaukan sampai ia mula pekat dan lebarkan disekitar kuali..
4. Kemudian masukkan 1 pinggan nasi goreng tadi ditengah - tengah telur dadar..
9. Ulang semula untuk 3 pinggan seterusnya...

Ini yang telah aku buat...

Hahahaha.. Seriously huduh... tapi this is yang attempt yang ketiga...

Haa amacam...?? Boleh?? Ada macam gambar yang atas sekali tak..? Hahahah

Nota tambahan :
1. Nasi goreng sebenarnya boleh apa - apa filling pun.. nak buat nasi goreng kampung ker, nasi goreng nenas ker.. tapi yang kat atas nieh dia compliment rasa daging ayam tu ler...
2. Decoration - itu suka tapi my friend Aika Megumi kata, takyah crowded sangat.. and biasanya di Jepun dorang suka menulis message atas nasi tuh...

Okeh laa... Selamat Mencuba and jangan lupa give feedback... :)

NTGravity : blom muak lagi makan Omurice....

Photography With Impact 2

I love photography since God knows when! Ever since, I've had believe photography isn't just about press, focus and snap... there's so much more than that. To me it's about emotions.. and capturing the right moment... I'm also always believe (for now!) that if you snap a really freaking good shot, the satisfaction is... aaaargghh!!...*grip fist hard, shake a little bit...* d*mn priceless!! *yes, read that sentence again, this time with more soul! LOL!*

....CURRENTLY.. i really got some serious issue with photo editors, video makers.... those thing make me - ADDICTED! haha

First of all i would LOVE to express an infinite gratitude to Sarawak Bloggers (please visit @ Sarawak Bloggers) for giving me this opportunity to attend this and of course to Alvin Leong Academy for having such a wonderful seminar.
*please pardon my photo this entry.. using my poor breed Samsung Galaxy SIII Y camera...*

Last month i went to a seminar about Photography Expression, organised and held in Pustaka. Speaker that day was Mr. Mohamad Gustie Noorambia a.k.a. Aiok99, a professional photographer for Dunia Sukan Online and also for Kosmo!. Anyways, the seminar was fun and new experience to me because he taught us how to snap shots and what to capture for sport event(which i was surprise at first because all i hope to learn about giving expression how to snoop handsome guy capture macro-unmoving-thing-and-yadda-yadda...) Simple, down-to-earth man... easy to learn!

Back to the main event here..., i always want to attend their seminars and surprisingly it's affordable RM15 per person for 2hours (with refreshment)!
F.Y.I : This is the second time after the first session of 'Photography with Impact' few months ago. *oh yeah, i totally missed that... (TT__TT) *

Anyways, this 'Photography with Impact 2' is featuring two experienced speakers - Mr Charles Kung (Malaysian Photographer) and Mr. Gerry Fox (Scottish Photographer) with a theme PHOTOJOURNALISM UNFOLDED...*class gitu..<3*

After start off with the academy introduction video, the first speaker is Mr. Charles Kung with his topic on "Photojournalistic Journey". While using his own best - picked photos (even he told us some was a bad one - i still vote it all good photos), Mr. Charles explain the 5 Ws rules (What, Who, Why, When and Where) and many more tips to be a good photojournalist WITH a good quality of photos.

The crowd at 2pm. Well that auditorium is big to fit maybe 500 pax.
While waiting to start.
First speaker Mr. Charles about what is photography and it's mechanism

Ground fundamental rules to be a good photographer...
After we're having a break for 15mins, the second speaker, Mr. Gerry Fox with his topic on Photojournalistic Potrait. With Live Domo Demo on stage, he teach us about lighting in photography. By using lighting umbrella at three different spot (at one time) can make a huge impact to a picture.

Mr. Gerry and his 'model'
Just snap LIVE from the camera...
He also give us some tips on how to utilized natural lights if we happen to have other than the Mighty DSLR camera. By using the entrances door which happen to be at both side of the auditorium,   Mr. Edwin (one of the instructor in Alvin Leong Academy) and Mr. Gerry along with the Alumni give some hands-on tips and advice to participant. Cool eh?

After that around 5pm, the seminar is come to the end and the MC, Ms. Angelina also  take the opportunity to promote their new program for upcoming school-break : The PhotoTeenZ (check out @ i <3 PhotoTeenz )

Mr Aiok ( from "Photography Expression" seminar), Mr Charles and Mr Gerry shared the same principles which are :
1. Approach the subject and do not just simply shots. Must not continue shooting if the subject didnt feel comfortable or refuse.
2. Do not affect the situation - be neutral and honest (while taking the photo - as photojournalist).
3. If we (the photojournalist) affect the scene - just leave. Example : If we're taking photos of a drifter on the street but they seems not cooperating, we might as well just leave and come back the next day or some other time.)
4. Be as close as you can to take shots of the subject.
5. Do not shoot once.. Always try to shoot the same photo a few time (i think this is when the Mighty DSLR coming.. faster shutter..)

and my 2 cents..., i'm so happy to be here...

NTGravity : My repeating new year goal to own a DSLR... still have not achieve! *sigh*

SMS Scam. Please Beware

Last week when i was at work.. Busy and stack under lots of paperwork..
Received this shocking message.

"Ini ayah Tolong bagi topped up 50RM ke nombor baru ayah 0128113586 ayah ada masalah di balai police. ta payah call sekejap ayah call blik. From : +60128115989 [Read : This dad Please help to topped up RM50 to my number 0128113586 i have problem now in police station. Dont call me i will call back later]"

First thought. A bit shocking~!!

In a splash, i remember a crucial fact about my father... He cant write text or SMSing... [ even reading it will bring a little trouble to him ].. I called him on his number - no answer but i know my old man need to do a ritual before answering his call which is 'Scanning'. LOL
I called home and voila~!! He himself answered. Case closed!
Yet, i still not understand WHY somebody still fall for this scam?
[Read : phone SMS scam ask for top-up credit, two victims loss RM8000]
Let alone RM50.. it's freaking RM8000? Meaning each victim has top-up RM50 for 80 times!! It should stop at least by first RM50... I mean if it's our own family members (this scam sometimes also using sister, brother, uncle etc...) - surely we can always counter-check, right?
There's also a scam that send SMS to the family members or to husband or wife asking for credit card number or ATM password using that person hand phone which been stole earlier. Pathetic yes?

STEPS TO AVOID USELESS SCAM :1. Once received any distress message, take a deep breath.
2. Re- read the message. Note the writing style. -
Example : If your sister usually used 'AKU', or your father usually called himself as 'Daddy' surely will bring lots of question marks if the message says, otherwise. Right?
3. Call the person or next-of-kin of the person to make sure the message is valid.
4. Spread the words to friends and families about this scam. Let everyone knows about this scam (or any other scams)

My prayer goes out to all, please be alert and dont just simply trust any message came in. You never know.

NtGravity : Luckily i'm not the girl with that so much money.... LOL~♥

Talking about BAD LUCK

Everybody sure will experience this. The day you might fall in front of people (maybe really lots of people or in front your crush... ), the day when somebody accidentally spilled they drink on you... or combo of fall from a stairs and landed right on a poop... or even worst super combo when you walking yourself way home, out of sudden it's raining.. heavily... and drenched your thin white tshirt. Soon after that, a car pass by and drenched you with the dirt puddles... Talking about bad luck yea?

Taken from this book "Stupid History : Tales of stupidity, Strangeness, and Mythconception - Throughout the Ages. Page 257"

A Voyage of Titanic Proportions

It's either a case of the worst luck in history or maybe the best you ever heard about this....
  • In 1829 A ship called The Mermaid was four day away from her destination of Sydney, Australia, when a massive storm struckvand drove the ship into a reef. All twenty-two people on board survived and were able to swim to safety.
  • Three days later, the Swiftsure rescued them.
  • Five days later, the Swiftsure sank.

  • Victims from both ships were rescued by the schooner Governor Ready
  • Three hours later, the Governor Ready caught fire
  • The Comet pulled everyone from the lifeboats and brought them aboard.
  • Five days later, the Comet sank. (The crew went for help in the longboat, leaving the passengers floating in the water)
  • Eighten hours later, the mail boat Jupiter pulled everyone out of the ocean.
  • In under twelve hours, the Jupiter sank.
  • Everyone was rescued by the passenger vesel The city of Leeds.
  • Four days later, The City of Leeds docked in Sydney, Australia.

The bad luck was that five ships were lost - the good luck was that not a single person died~!

NtGravity : Never say you're life is bad... there's others even worst!

Arrived at BCCK around 2pm - met other Sarawak Bloggers in person [ Irene : Sweet Surrender,  Desmond : Pledge: A Promise of Hope and Norman Goh ] - all very young and success... :)
The Opening Ceremony start off with Iban Tribe called Miring.
Even this is live reconstruction.. but his expression looks real~!
(‐^▽^‐)オーホッホ
The purpose of doing Miring, generally as making offering as i recalled [Thanks to my Ex Boyfriend for the memories... lalalala~] - it's either to seek blessing or for good health, fortune or even peace. Miring also to seek forgiveness and protection, give honor to Gods or souls of their dead ancestors and some other more.

Usually on the the tray (made of copper), you will find tobacco weed & cigar wrapper (made from palm leaves), betel leaf and condiments, Eggs, a small cup of rice wine, feathers of a chicken used during prayer will be plucked out and dipped in its blood when it is killed (YES, luckily it's not happen this time!) and some other (sorry - it's been awhile....)
