Salam 1Malaysia...

Memula aku nak ucapkan Ahlan Wasahlan Marhaban Ya Ramadan...

Pendapat aku...

Apa mahal sangat ker signal light tuh?? Belum lagi part keluar simpang sesuka hati hingga hampir nak buat aku & mak aku terbabas!! Aku pun tak perfect pasal memandu tapi aku ni tak berduit dan nyawa aku ada satu jer jadi aku selalu cuba memandu sebaik mungkin untuk menghindari kemalangan. Boleh tanya member - member aku yang selalu tumpang aku - aku TAK suka tekan hon kecuali memang terpaksa. Walaupun adakalanya mereka pulak yang suruh aku hon kat orang lain tuh!

2. Tidak mematuhi isyarat papan tanda, makan jalan orang lain, merokok di tempat larangan, membuang sampah merata - rata, meletakkan kenderaan ditempat yang tak sepatutnya.

Aku pernah jumpa kereta besar dan mewah nieh - ntah apa yang dimakan nya tapi dengan selamba badak dia membuang seplastik sampah dijalan raya! Bayangkan kalau dibelakangnya pemandu motosikal? Nie belum lagi cerita memotong barisan kat lampu isyarat. It's not fair! Sabarlah!

Yeah, aku pernah terkena.. Dah lah aku dah pusing banyak kali (masa tu aku pegi The Spring), dah bagus pemandu kereta tuh bagi signal kat aku kata dia nak keluar - tempat pun baik punya! Alih alih satu kereta nieh datang dari arah berlawanan terus masuk!! Memang gila marah aku dengan orang itu! Takde akal! Masa tuh aku gunakan lah hon aku sebaik - baiknya! Tapi dia keluar dengan wajah selamba macam takde apa - apa berlaku! WTH <-- sorry!

Aku pernah buat gak masa zaman sekolah menengah dulu. Aku cuba bagi pakcik tuh duduk tapi dia tolak kata dia okay jer. Aku pun selamba duduk balik, bila dah nak sampai baru aku perasan ada makcik dengan banyak barang dia berdiri kat seat belakang aku! Kesian makcik tuh!

Terima Kasih tuh ayat basic jer.. susah ker?

Takyah lah aku ulas.. Terang kat situ!

10. Lewat.

Time management failed!

Yang mana korang tak pernah buat? Bohonglah kalau korang tak pernah buat satu yang diatas! Nobody is perfect.

Banyak lagi kalau nak disenaraikan tapi macam fault finding jer kan tapi aku bagi sikitlah yang terlintas difikiran aku sekarang...

Taken from www.colourbox.com

2. Memotong barisan - orang kita nieh memang ada masalah dengan menda barisan nie.. baik sewaktu memandu atau pun kat bus stop waima kat buffet line pun sama jer! Tak kira orang muda or yang tua... Suka nak berebut - rebut!
Taken from abuazri's Blog

3. Bila terlanggar orang waktu berjalan kaki - maksud aku terselisih.. mungkin nak cepat tapi aku tau ada dalam family aku yang suka buat camtuh. Kalau aku berjalan dengan dia, selalu aku akan berjalan dibelakang dia - sebab aku perasan dia jalan main lajak jer pastu kalau dah terlanggar buat dek jer.. At least just say 'Sorry'.. Terpulang orang tuh nak terima atau tak..

Taken from http://www.cs.columbia.edu

Masa aku dah habiskan makanan aku, aku pun serba salah sebab biasanya aku just tinggalkan jer tapi sebab aku nieh kiasu sikit (taknak mengalah la kiranya) aku pun buat sama.. tapi aku rasa best sebab aku dah tolong ringan kan beban kerja staff kat situ... Masa tuh keadaan agak padat gak.

Nak bertegur sapa pun kita malu.. Awkward!! Aku tak kata orang kampung perfect.. Ada jugak yang kurang gak budi bahasanya. Ini semua bermula dari diri kita sendiri. Stop being ignorance!

Jangan lupa anak - anak kita pun kita kena ajar...

Tak nak laa kalau kita dilabel kurang ajar...

Malaysia Boleh!!

NTGravity : Teringat masa kerja kat hotel dulu, keadaan memang sibuk. Aku disuruh hantar bil kat customer nieh, bila dia letak duit kat bil - Aku kata 'Thank you'. Customer tuh terkejut pastu kata aku lah yang pertama kata thank you sejak dia duduk di situ terus dia bagi aku tip RM50! Hanya kerana aku kata 'Thank you!' Renung - renungkanlah....

Haiittt~!!!!

13th July 2012

Morning...!! Today Kembara Media delegates will go back to Kuching via Sibu (some might stay or stay back in Sibu while our little petite fellow blogger Hilda's flight to Bintulu around 2pm..)

Wake up early around 5am as we must already at the bus at 7am... All bag are packed last night so no rushing...

Breakfast only starts at 6:30am - so i took the opportunity to have a slow walk around the hotel... (Trying to cherished everything... <-- sorry i'm a very emo person... huhu

6am...

By 6:30am mostly everybody already here... Breakfast time...

Gonna miss this... Goodbye Mukah's Tuna Spread... LOL!!

Non edited - Halo... *nice yes?*

Goodbye Sibu...

Non edited - 'Someday over the rainbow' really exists.. *LOL*

Time flies so fast... Reach Kuching at 12noon *Home Sweet Home*

I think is a noble effort from the Department of Information Malaysia, Sarawak as it gives wide publicity to the development of that particular place, like now - Mukah. Personally, if i was not invited (and applied and accepted via Sarawak Bloggers...) - God knows when will i eventually have the opportunity to get to know about Mukah. All this while i just know Kaul Festival & umai as it is - nothing personal! This programme also will strengthen the relationship between media practitioners with local residents, leaders of government and the Department of Information Malaysia. As far as i know, Kembara Media also held in Peninsular Malaysia. How good is that! *Kudos to the Government for having this activity.*

I will cherish this experience as i can meet new friends, especially other bloggers and also be together with other media partners.

In my opinion, the development in Mukah is important because not only will be the Smart city in future, in terms of tourism is also emphasized - a lot of historical value can be further studied and preserved for future generations.

I would convey my GRATITUDE to...

1.  Department of Information Malaysia, Sarawak for this picturesque programme... Hope i could join this programme again.

2. YB. Dato' Seri Muhammad Leo Toyad, Mukah P. 213's MP - Thank you for the big package of Kuih Sepit!!

3. Mukah Resident Office

4. Dalat District Office

5. Kuala Oya 1Malaysia Community and Dalat 1Malaysia Community

6. Mukah Power Generation Management

7. Press Metal Berhad Management

8. Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Mukah

9. Kampung Judan 1Malaysia Community - Traditional snacks processing centre.

10. Kampung Tutus Hilir's farmer's organizations - Tebaloi processing centre.

You might see it but it's actually an old grave (more than 100 years) called 'Kubur Gantung' (Read: Hanging Grave)

A little bit about Kubur Gantung (from the elderly) believes that this tomb was built hanging due to natural disasters in the area such as floods and to avoid the deceased from drifted away so the local residents took the initiative to build the hanging graves. This hanging grave usually made of Belian wood with four columns - 6 feet off the ground.

Restaurant right next to the homestay building

Jerunai (aged more than 200 years old) is a tomb for nobles in the past.

A little info about Jerunai - Jerunai made from a large and mature Belian tree. It is well-known that Belian wood is high durability. Usually, two or three holes will be drilled in the pole of Jerunai. Central hole mainly to place the bodies or bones of the deceased and also other valuable items as 'a supply' in the other world. While the other holes usually were reserved for slaves or those who are specially selected by the deceased during his life <-- they will be hung 'til death once the Jerunai is erected.

The outside pole of Jerunai usually carved beautifully with animal motifs such as dragons, tigers, snakes, rats or so according to the owner. Similarly, the height of Jerunai also represent the position and prestige of the owner. There are also carved with motifs of natural flora or fruit such as pineapple and so forth. Normally, the height is 12 meters to 15 meters. Jerunai can only be done by those who are skilled, strong and high spirits to be qualified to make, carve and erect Jerunai. This work takes about 15 to 30 person and those people must be Melanau.

Before Jerunai is erected, traditional songs will be sung to be heard to all, then a hole will be dug to accommodate the pole. Before the ceremony uphold Jerunai done, first they will dig a hole as deep as two meters at the determined place and hold a special ritual to bless the spirit of their efforts. A servant will be thrown into the hole where Jerunai will be driven into the ground. At this point, the melancholy atmosphere surrounding the royal family and slaves as wailing and loud cry is heard in the tomb as a symbol of peace to the soul of the deceased come to another world and does not disturb those who are still alive.

*creepy yeah? but very interesting... I wish to learn more about this Jerunai as to-date only left a few in Kampung Tellian...*

there still visible carving on this tree

live in the pole now a flock of bats *sleeping*

Just coming back from school

*Janganlah malu...!! hehe*

till that extent??? *Well, creativity is no boundaries*

Peaceful...

We all then having our lunch at the hotel and then it's own leisure activity until 7:30pm.

Around 3:30pm: Walk around the old town for the last time... At first, I decided to strolled solo around Mukah town but meet fellow media (Senpai!!) along the way and joined them instead... Learn lots from them! Funny bunch of guys! *By the way, Thanks for the Teh Tarik & Roti Kawin!!*

Sago Factory Chimney... Look from afar just like a fort

the guys seem so ready to go! *Public Announcement: I'm so sorry, Effa - I'm so poor in eating corns from the cob... I usually will scrape with a knife.. (with some butter and a little bit salt...*drooling!!*) huhu~*

Ganbatte!! Ngappp!!

Go, ladies!!

It's a makan time!

Food... food... food...

Unexpectedly good... a song from the Late Boery Marantika~!! *phewwiitt!*

Selected victims to dance poco - poco (in Anak Kampung version)...

Sadly, both Digital & DSLR cammys batteries drained in the middle of the event... forgot to charge and didn't bring along the charger! *facepalm*

Anyways, after that - the karaoke session continue - some are picked randomly... some volunteered to sing and even dance!

Earlier, the MC actually asked every Media to send at least one representative... We from Sarawak Bloggers are still clueless about who will be the sacrifice! *LOL!* Although Senpai Awang Kassim already assigned me to go... but I'm so malu *ngeeeehhhh~!!* so I just keep quiet and pretend nothing happening.

I thought we were safe when the MC announced that the last agenda is a souvenir giveaway by Community leader from Kampung Judan, Mr Jara-ee (on behalf of YB. Dato' Seri Muhammad Leo Toyad, Mukah P. 213's MP *Thank you, Dato' Seri!*)

BUT.....

Thanks to him and his big mouth.....

........definitely not safe enough...! *LOL!!*

Last snap as a sweet memory. Taken from Normala Juatan's Facebook
